A Night At the Ringling Bros.!

For Family Night We went to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. It was a wonderful Show and We all enjoyed it.
I was only able to get a quick shot of Jon in our seats and Jones in Line to go in to the Show. But Sylvi was not going to have her picture taken! She was not to happy about the Animals being used
in the Show ! But that is our family Activist. I was glad she did not see the protesters or She would have wanted to join in! Jon on the other hand really enjoyed the show and was really into the people
being shot out of the rockets. Even Jones enjoyed the Night!

A Totally Environment Friendly Day!

Sylviann and her Envirobowl Teammates( Jessica, Elizabeth, Chelsie ,and Darcy) at the Regional Meets. The Team placed 2nd and will be going to State for the championship. I'm so proud of them, they faced tough questioning and did a super job!

WHAT'S UP WITH US !

It has been a while since I last posted anything. So, here is a little recap of what's been going on here. We spent Christmas here at home instead of going to our parents homes. Mother and Bill came and spent Christmas with Us. We had a really nice time visiting. Then for New Years the children went on a retreat with the church for 4days to Gatlinburg. While Jones and I stayed home. It was very quite here and We missed he kids. The kids have started back to school and both are in full swing with their after school activities. Jon has been doing Basketball since November and We are in the second rounds. So, Our Saturdays are full of games. Sylvi tried out last year for the "Envirobowl"Team and made it; so this year she was automatically on the team. They have been practicing since late November and have their regional meet this week. If they win like last year they will get to go to state in the spring to compete. So that is what is going on here . Hopefully soon I can get up some new pictures and if I can figure out my new "Flip" maybe I can put on a video.

"Thanksgiving in South Carolina"

This thanksgiving we went to SC to spend the Holiday with Jone's family. We also were able to attend the Clemson/Carolina game. It was a great game (Clemson won) except for the cold weather and rain! Sylviann and I went Black Friday shopping with Nonnie and Pop. We started at 12 midnight (Thanksgiving night) and shopped until 10 am the next morning . Needless, to say staying up 24 hours was not easy and probable will not be done next year! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our visit with family. It was nice to get to see everyone that we don't get to see but once a year. (The picture above is Jon and Sylviann at Clemson before the game)
